How does a Pension Account build up?

The pension figures quoted above assume payment at Normal Pension Age, which from April 2015 is linked to your State Pension Age. Where a member chooses to take their pension before Normal Pension Age it will normally be reduced, as it's being paid earlier. For members who take it later than Normal Pension Age these figures are increased because it's being paid later.
